Contributing to the further development of the Uzbek language and literature which is the ground for national idea, culture, national spirit of our people;
Eliminating problems, that keep hindering the process of development of the Uzbek language, caused in the period of usurper invasions of the past centuries;
Establishing the exploration of the formation and development of our ancient and rich language;
As the successors of the priceless heritage, increasing the value of the Uzbek language in the world and enriching it;
Training the specialists of the Uzbek language and literature, retraining and increasing the qualification of the personnel of this field;
Developing essential researches in actual themes enhancing the role and value of the Uzbek language and literature.
The strategic goal
The strategic goal of the university is set in the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the founder of the country’s independence Islam Karimov, adopted on May 13, 2016 “On establishing Tashkent state university of the Uzbek language and literature named after Alisher Navai”. main strategic goal of the university set in the Decree reads as:“Conducting comprehensive explorations of unique features and historical development of the Uzbek language and literature, together with its present and future issues, in the framework of swift changing globalization, increasing scientific potential of the investigations, improving teaching facilities and qualities at stages of education, along with intensifying the quality of knowledge of the future teaching personnel of the Uzbek language and literature.”
