From this academic year Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature (TSUULL) and Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University set up a joint master’s programme in History and Literary Criticism (Turkic studies).
In the aftermath of initial qualification exams 10 students have been enrolled into this graduate studies programme and this year only their courses will start in November 2018.
In this regard Mr. Sulton Normamatov, head of international joint programmes department of TSUULL visited Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University and got acquainted with the activities of Turkic Studies Department, academic and methodological system as well as its scholarly collections reserve fund.
Students enrolled into this newly established module will enhance their knowledge based on upgraded curricula. The students will be furnished with both hard and soft copies of the whole reading list essential for acquiring their perspective expertise in-depth.
Syllabi required to astutely master this discipline will constantly be enhanced by the scholars of both universities.
Collaboration will get even a better impetus in upcoming years and numerous projects on preparing personnels capable of raising the prestige of the universities will mutually be implemented.
