The students of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature won at international online Olympiad in Russian language
The students of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature had an opportunity to protect the honor of Uzbekistan in the annual Olympiad in Russian for foreigners organized on the initiative of The University of Tyumen. 104 young people, selected from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Niger, Vietnam, Syria, Columbia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Venezuela, Zaire, Southern Ossetia, Serbia, Malaysia, Egypt, Ecuador, Ghana, Chad, Morocco, Afghanistan, Mali, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Zambia and other countries reached to the final stage of the Olympiad. Fortunately, 20 of them are students of the higher education institutions of Uzbekistan. The contest has been held in two stages, which examine listening, speaking and writing skills of the participants.
The students of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature, who participated on behalf of Uzbekistan, became the absolute winners in A and B groups of equally contested Olympiad. Usmonova Nilufar acquired the first place in group B while Mamarasulov Tolib became the winner in Group A, as well as the other representatives of Uzbekistan were awarded. Participants from Syria, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Zambia, Vietnam and Egypt are on the next places according to team total stats after Uzbekistan. The awarding ceremony of the winners of the Olympiad was also organized online. The winners of the contest were announced, certificates and gifts were presented to them.
It is worth to mention that the winners of this contest have the opportunity to study master’s degree on social studies at Russian higher education institutions, as well as they are invited to summer school in the University of Tyumen.
