Shukhrat Sirojiddinov, the Rector of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature held a meeting with academic staff and talented students of the university. Evening of Uzbek culture in Italy

As we informed earlier, a team of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature is attending seminars in the frame of Erasmus+ project in Italy. Last night an evening of Uzbek culture was organized by the members of our team. Guests from Italy, Romania, Malta and Norway were impressed by our national traditions, clothes and dishes. Obviously, the presentations of the traditions of the Uzbek people attracted foreigners. As the proof of our words, they showed their intention to visit and enjoy our cultural heritage.

A new level of mutual partnership

An educational forum Uzbekistan-Russia had been held on the initiative of leading higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Russia on 18-19 October, 2018. A partnership agreement was signed between Linguistics University Nizhny Novgorod in Russia and Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and literature within the frame of current forum. A partnership agreement was signed between TSUULL and Istinye University

The following visit of TSUULL team in Turkey was to Istinye University in Istanbul. The delegation of our university have been welcomed by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Erdal KARAÖZ and Asst. Prof. Feyzi ÇİMEN the Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature. At the crossroads of literary modernism -- Daniil Granin

A literary meeting called " At the crossroads of literary modernism -- Daniil Granin " was held in cooperation with  Russian Center for Science and Culture (Rossotrudnichestvo) in Tashkent and Foreign languages department of Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature. Students were provided with Information on the literary workmanship of Daniil Granin and his versatile creative work. They took part in a contest and recited the Daniil Granin's poetry. The winners of contest were awarded at the end of the  event.

Marmara and Ibn Haldun Universities have also become the partners of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature

The business trip to Turkey of TSUULL team is still continuing. A partnership agreement with famous Marmara University in Turkey was signed on the following day of the trip. A bilateral agreement of partnership was later signed with Recep  Senturk,  the rector of Ibn Haldun University. It is planned to establish several joint programs with both universities. They intend to implement experience exchange programs for professor-teachers and academic student exchange programs between the universities.

January 14 is the Day of Motherland Defenders

A meeting was held on the eve of January 14 - Day of Motherland Defenders at Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature. The students expressed their warmest greetings to male teachers and professors, congratulated all the men who are the defenders of their families and country on this holiday. During the meeting girls recited poems about motherland and her guardians, and the classes began with good mood.

Established partnership with Usak University of Turkey

A partnership agreement was signed between Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature. oi and Usak University. The rector of TSUULL  Sh. A number of educational and scientific institutions in Turkey have established cooperation with TSUULL

TSUULL staff is still on business trip to Turkey. Acontract was signed with the Topkapi Palace Museum of Manuscripts the following day of visit. In accordance with this contract, an agreement was reached on joint study of the works of Alisher Navoi and representatives of Uzbek literature. This means reading and analyzing the classic handwritten works of our national literature. In addition, a close partnership was established with the famous Ankara University  Hoca Bayram Valli. London Metropolitan University and TSUULL will establish partnership

On january 9, 2019 N. Normurodova, head of English philology department, Sh. Mustanova, simultaneous translation laboratory director and T. Abbasova, head of International relations department of the university met with Chris Lynn, dean of translation and interpreting faculty of London Metropolitan University.
