Professors and students of Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek language and literature took part in the international conference in Moscow


“ On February 28, 2020 at the Institute of Asian and African studies of Moscow State University, an international scientific-practical conference on the topic "The intellectual legacy of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and modernity"" was held.The organizers of the conference are MSU, the State Museum of Oriental art in Moscow, TSUULL and Samarkand State institute of foreign languages. The opening and plenary session of the conference was held at the State Museum of Oriental art. ”

     The conference was started by I.I.Abilgaziyev, the director of the Institute of Asian and African studies of Moscow State University. The extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation.Z.Asadov and the director of the State Museum of Oriental art, professor A.V.Sedov  congratulated the participants and wished success to the work of the conference.The congratulatory letter of the rector of TSUULL Sh.S.Sirojiddinov was read by professor S.Muhamedova. Also at the plenary meeting, the president of the International fund named after Babur, professor Z.Mashrabov and the president of the Institute of Asian and African studies of Moscow State University professor M.S.Meyer gave lectures about the life and creative activity of Babur. Participants of the conference took part in the opening of the exhibition of miniatures "Boburnoma" organized in the State Museum of Oriental art. The conference consisted of five sections. The professors and students of Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and literature participated with their lectures and were awarded with the certificate of the conference.

      Scientists from more than 15 countries attended in the conference. The lectures of the professors and teachers of our university were recognized as one of the best lectures. The issues of future cooperation with the Institute of Asian and African studies of Moscow State University were discussed.
