History

History

      The University was founded by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 13 May 2016 by combining three academic institutions – the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek the department of Uzbek Language and Literature of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami and the Alisher Navo'i Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

1968-1976 - Department of Philology (Uzbek, Kazakh, Russian, Tatar) of Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute
